László Gajdos discusses national animal neutering program
László Gajdos, a politician from the TISZA party, has held consultations with representatives from various animal welfare organizations. The discussions focused on the preparation of a national animal neutering program and the implementation of the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) method for stray cats.
Other topics addressed during the meetings included the operating conditions for animal shelters and the planned establishment of a 'Green Guard' (Zöld Őrség). Gajdos, drawing on thirty years of experience working with animals, emphasized the necessity of incorporating the practical knowledge of field-based civil organizations into the development of animal welfare policies. He noted that while professional debate is natural, the goal is to find implementable solutions rather than purely theoretical answers.
