László Nemes Jeles releases trailer for new film Moulin

Oscar-winning director László Nemes Jeles has released a Hungarian-dubbed trailer for his new film, Moulin. The drama, which premiered in the competition program at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, depicts the story of Jean Moulin, a legendary figure of the French Resistance.

Set in occupied France in 1943, the film follows Moulin as he returns secretly from London to unify scattered resistance groups on behalf of Charles de Gaulle. The narrative focuses on the tension following his arrest and his subsequent confrontation with Klaus Barbie, the notorious Gestapo leader in Lyon. The film stars Gilles Lellouche as Moulin and Lars Eidinger as Barbie.

Hungarian audiences will first see the film on October 29 during the Budapest International Film Festival (BIFF), followed by a wide theatrical release on November 12 via ADS Service.
