Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta reviews Indian Army logistics and readiness
Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Army’s Central Command, conducted visits to review logistics modernization and the operational readiness of elite units.
At the Central Ordnance Depot in Agra, Lt Gen Sengupta assessed logistics infrastructure and ongoing initiatives to strengthen support for field formations. The review focused on integrating digital systems and modern inventory management practices to improve the visibility, speed, and accuracy of supplying essential military stores and equipment.
Additionally, the Army Commander visited the Shatrujeet Brigade to review its training and integration of niche technologies. The visit emphasized preparedness for modern warfare through the use of unmanned systems, sensors, and advanced communications. During this visit, a new Modular Containerised Indoor Shooting Range was inaugurated to provide soldiers with realistic, technology-enabled training for reflex shooting and marksmanship.
