L’Étrange Festival 2026 begins in Paris

The 32nd edition of L’Étrange Festival is set to take place at the Forum des images in Paris from September 1 to September 12. The festival focuses on genre cinema, including horror and fantasy films.

The program features approximately thirty official selection titles, organized into sections such as the international competition, the Mondovision segment, and a spotlight on emerging talents. The event also includes a short film competition, a focus on South African cinema, and various tributes, including a retrospective for actress Ornella Muti and a celebration of the distributor Potemkine Films.
