Lu Shiow-yen and Huang Min-hui support Wu Pin-jui in Chiayi

Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-yen and Chiayi Mayor Huang Min-hui appeared together in Shuishang Township, Chiayi County, to support Wu Pin-jui, an independent candidate for Chiayi County Magistrate. This event marks the first major collaboration of Lu’s “female power alliance” for the 2026 election cycle.

Known as the “Mama Mayor” and “Brave Mama Mayor,” the two leaders aimed to provide mentorship and political momentum to the new candidate. They were joined by several local figures, including former legislator Lin Kuo-ching, Minxiong Township Chief Lin Yu-ling, and Yizhu Township Chief Huang Cheng-chieh, representing a cross-party effort to support Wu’s campaign.
