Luan Santana makes 'L' gesture during Brasília concert

During a concert in Brasília as part of his ‘Registro Histórico’ tour, singer Luan Santana was seen making the ‘L’ hand gesture on two separate occasions. Fans on social media have interpreted the movement as a sign of support for President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who is seeking reelection.

The gesture was observed once at the beginning of the performance during his stage entrance and again during a break between songs while interacting with the audience. During the second instance, the singer remarked, ‘May our country be in good hands in the coming months.’

This perceived political stance marks a potential shift for the artist, who previously stated he did not wish to take sides in partisan disputes. His spokesperson has not yet responded to inquiries regarding whether the gesture was intended as a political manifestation.
