Luana Vecchio drawing found in a bottle in Puglia

A drawing by Italian artist Luana Vecchio was discovered in a message in a bottle near Marina di Ostuni, in the Puglia region of Italy. The bottle was found by Anja Koster, who shared her gratitude with the Herceg Novi Strip Festival (HSF) organizers.

The artwork is part of the HSF ‘Comic in a Bottle’ initiative, which launched on September 8. As part of the program, guest artists draw a comic strip, place it in a glass bottle with a cork, and release it into the sea. The project aims to use the maritime tradition of sending messages in bottles to symbolically connect different cultures and shores through art.
