Lubcza hosts 10th Anniversary Show of Wooden Horse-Drawn Fire Pumps

The 10th Anniversary Show of Wooden Horse-Drawn Fire Pumps took place in Lubcza, within the Ryglice municipality. The event, which has attained provincial status, featured a parade of historic firefighting vehicles through the streets, drawing spectators from Małopolska, Podkarpacie, and Silesia.

Participants demonstrated the manual operation of antique equipment, such as a pump from Wola Rzędzińska. These historical devices require significant physical effort; for instance, operating a single pump can require at least four firefighters to manually pump water from a source to a fire using suction and pressure hoses.
