Lubelskie Marshal Jarosław Stawiarski target of false detention reports

False reports circulated in several media outlets claiming that Jarosław Stawiarski, the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship, had been detained in connection with an investigation into the Zondacrypto affair.

Stawiarski was attending a football match at the time the reports surfaced. The prosecutor's office has stated that there were no plans to detain the local official.

MP Michał Dworczyk commented on the incident, suggesting the spread of misinformation reflects a breakdown or incompetence within the justice system. He questioned whether the error resulted from organizational chaos or failed political objectives.
