Lubin Primary School No. 9 celebrates 50th anniversary

Primary School No. 9 in Lubin, named after Stefania Sempolowska, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The institution, which began operations in 1976, marked the milestone with a mass at the Sanctuary of St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe.

A symbolic time capsule was placed in front of the school building to be opened in twenty years. The capsule contains letters from current eighth-grade students addressed to future generations, as well as various artworks depicting students' visions of how the school will look in the future. School director Krystyna Węgrzyn noted that the collection of materials over the past two weeks aimed to capture the students' current wishes and values.
