Mazowsze ensemble hosts 5th Stanisław Jopek International Vocal Competition

The Mazowsze ensemble has announced the 5th Stanisław Jopek International Vocal Competition. The event aims to promote Polish folk music and the repertoire of the Mazowsze ensemble among various age groups, including children, youth, and seniors.

Participants must perform two songs from the Mazowsze repertoire. The competition is structured in three stages: initial auditions held in 39 cities across Poland, a second stage in eight macro-regions, and a final stage at the Mazowsze headquarters in Karolin. The judging panels consist of cultural authorities, university professors, and artists.
