Lublin community events honor genealogy, foster families, and seniors

In Lublin, various community and cultural initiatives have been highlighted. The Lublin Genealogical Society (LTG) has been active in promoting regional history and genealogical research, including projects such as documenting school records from Niedrzwica Duża dating back to 1929–1932.

Additionally, the Provincial Family Day was held at the Lublin Village Museum. The event honored foster and adoptive families for their commitment to caring for children in need. Notable honorees included Katarzyna Ziemicka for her role in child care. The gathering also recognized active seniors, such as geriatrician Maria Laskowska-Szcześniak, and aimed to promote intergenerational integration and community values among residents and migrants in the region.
