Lubelskie Towarzystwo Genealogiczne marks 20 years with anniversary conference in Lublin
The Lubelskie Towarzystwo Genealogiczne is hosting a jubilee conference to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Organized jointly with the Institute of History of Maria Curie‑Skłodowska University in Lublin, the event will feature scientific sessions on genealogical sources, research methodology, and family history, as well as a concert by the guitar group MILONGA. Honorary patrons include Regional Marshal Jarosław Stawiarski, the Hieronim Łopaciński Public Library, the Polish Genealogical Society, the Lubelskie Scientific Society and the Civic Activity Foundation. Media patronage is provided by Radio Lublin and TVP3 Lublin. The program also includes the awarding of the “Zasłużony dla Kultury Polskiej” honor and the granting of honorary membership in the society. The conference aims to bring together genealogists, archivists, historians and enthusiasts from across Poland to exchange knowledge and celebrate two decades of work promoting genealogy and local heritage.
