Lubrication industry specialists participate in Brazilian trade events

Various lubrication specialists are showcasing technological advancements at industry events in São Paulo, Brazil.

YPF Lubrificantes is participating in the 9th Brazilian Mechanic Congress. The company will present a lecture titled “Modern engine, right oil: what has changed with turbo, direct injection and hybrids,” led by Ritieli Pereira. The presentation focuses on how modern technologies, such as turbochargers, direct injection, start-stop systems, and hybrid engines, alter engine operating conditions and lubricant requirements. Key topics include Low-Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI) in turbo engines and the challenges of moisture and fuel accumulation in hybrid vehicle oils.

Additionally, Klüber Lubrication, a Freudenberg Group company, is attending Brazil Windpower 2026. The company is highlighting new solutions for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) in wind farms. Their focus is on extending the lifespan of bearings and improving operational reliability through specialized greases and oils, aiming to reduce the need for prolonged maintenance stops as the Brazilian wind fleet ages.
