Luca Dal Fabbro appointed president of Italy's Confservizi federation

Luca Dal Fabbro has been elected president of Confservizi, the national confederation that brings together Asstra and Utilitalia and represents around 600 public‑service companies with more than 150,000 employees. The decision was taken unanimously by the Confservizi assembly, with Dal Fabbro succeeding Francesco Macrì.

Dal Fabbro, who currently serves as executive president of Iren and as president of Utilitalia, said the water, waste, energy and transport sectors are undergoing rapid change and face increasingly demanding challenges. He highlighted the need for companies to pursue ecological transition, digitalisation and investment with an industrial approach.

His résumé includes former roles as president of Snam, chief executive of ENEL Energia and E.On Italia, board member of Terna, and experience at Procter & Gamble. He also served as vice‑president of the Snam Foundation, Assoesco and Aiget, teaches as an adjunct professor at LUISS University and has authored three books, the latest titled “Proteggere il futuro” on national interest, energy security and competitiveness.
