Lucía Fernández gains recognition in flamenco dance

Sevillian flamenco dancer Lucía Fernández, known professionally as La Bronce, is gaining significant recognition within the dance community. Born in Seville in 2000, Fernández has transitioned from classical dance training to becoming a prominent figure in flamenco.

Her career highlights include winning the 2022 Concurso de Jóvenes Flamencos of the Federación Provincial de Peñas Flamencas de Sevilla and receiving the Desplante award at the Festival de La Unión in August. She is also scheduled to receive the 2026 Silverio Franconetti International Award for New Flamenco Value in Granada on November 16.
