Luca Ferro wins Sport Angels-Eroica in Monteroni d’Arbia
Luca Ferro of Bustese Olonia secured his first victory in the 'allievi' category at the 2026 Sport Angels-Eroica-Memorial Doriano Fontirossi in Monteroni d’Arbia, Siena.
The race was characterized by difficult, selective terrain featuring steep climbs and unpaved sections. A leading group of four—Ferro, Riccardo Pierangelini, Lorenzo Lodovisi, and Giovanni Gliottone—broke away to control the final stages. Ferro won the sprint in Monteroni d’Arbia, finishing with a time of 2h 21’50” over the 84.67 km course.
