Luca Giuman releases new novel ‘Di libertà e tempesta’

Author Luca Giuman has released his fourth novel, ‘Di libertà e tempesta’, published by Edizioni Il Ciliegio. The book explores themes of freedom and the challenges of a same-sex relationship within a deeply machismo-driven society dominated by organized crime.

Set in a frontier region near the Caribbean Sea, the story follows a couple, Stefano and Tomás, as they attempt to rebuild their lives. While Stefano finds a sense of rebirth in the territory, Tomás becomes entangled in the criminal underworld, working as a migrant trafficker under the influence of the Clan del Golfo. The narrative is inspired by Giuman’s personal experiences, including his own detention by the criminal group that controls the region near the border of Colombia and Panama.
