Luca Jurman criticizes Simone Opini over autotune comments

Opini shared that after being eliminated from the show, he returned to his previous job as a painter to earn money to purchase autotune. While many media outlets framed this as an inspiring story of perseverance for aspiring musicians, Jurman contested this interpretation in a TikTok video.

Jurman argued that the narrative sends a misleading message. He suggested that instead of using earnings to buy technology to correct his voice, Opini should have invested the money in professional singing and music lessons to improve his actual skills. Jurman characterized the idea of using autotune as a shortcut rather than pursuing true artistic growth through study and sacrifice.
