Luca Lepri continues theatrical tour with new Claude Monet act

Luca Lepri is continuing his theatrical tour with the production ‘Il buio e il tempo – Non vedo l’ora’. Lepri, who lost his sight in 2020 at the age of 46, uses the stage to explore themes of resilience and rebirth.

The upcoming season is scheduled to begin on September 17, serving as the official opening for the 2026 Festival del Buon Vivere in Forlì at the Musei San Domenico. The tour will continue in October with a stop in Pesaro, with additional dates being planned for Jesi and Ancona.

A significant performance is also scheduled for December 3 at the Teatro della Fortuna in Fano to coincide with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The production has been updated to include a new act dedicated to the French impressionist Claude Monet, who also faced blindness late in his career. This new segment joins existing acts focused on figures such as Saint Francis of Assisi, Ray Charles, Galileo Galilei, and Demosthenes. The show is directed by Fabrizio Bartolucci, with texts by Giampiero Pizzol and live musical accompaniment by Arianna Palazzetti.
