Luca Rosada unveils new Franco Baresi mural for AC Milan

Artist Luca Rosada, known as Lucas Street Art, has unveiled a new three-meter-tall mural dedicated to AC Milan legend Franco Baresi. The new artwork follows the vandalism of a previous mural that featured an iconic 1978 image of Baresi.

Rather than reproducing the original piece, Rosada chose a different subject: Baresi celebrating a goal against Padova in 1995. The artist stated that he viewed the vandalism as the end of the previous work's life and chose to respond to the act with a smile. The new mural includes six values representing Baresi and the spirit of Milan, including respect for the person the image represents.
