Luca Toni discusses Italian football reforms and rising talents

Former Italian striker Luca Toni has shared his perspectives on the current state of Italian football and identified specific players he believes show significant promise.

Addressing the systemic issues within the sport, Toni emphasized the urgent need for youth development reforms. He noted a lack of infrastructure and full-time coaching staff, suggesting that Serie A clubs should be required to include more young Italian players in their squads to ensure long-term growth.

Regarding individual talent, Toni highlighted Alphadjo Cisse of AC Milan as a standout prospect. He also expressed confidence in Randal Kolo Muani, predicting the striker could score between 15 and 20 goals this season despite recent criticisms. Toni noted that while Kolo Muani is not a traditional center-forward, his recent performances show growth and tactical contribution to the team.
