Luca Vozar extends contract with FC Schalke 04 until 2029

Luca Vozar, a 19-year-old central midfielder for FC Schalke 04, has signed a contract extension through 2029. The player, a product of Schalke’s youth academy, recently made his professional debut in a match against FC Bayern.

Schalke head coach Miron Muslic has praised Vozar as a “complete player” and described him as “the future of S04.” Youth coach Norbert Elgert also lauded the midfielder's development.

Due to his Croatian roots, the Croatian Football Federation is reportedly showing intense interest in the player, who could potentially represent Croatia at the international level despite being born in Bottrop, Germany.
