Luca Ward discusses Italian cinema at cultural events

Italian actor and voice actor Luca Ward has participated in recent cultural events in Italy. During a conversation in Moliterno as part of the ‘Se una notte d’estate…’ event, Ward shared personal insights regarding his career and the state of the Italian film industry. He criticized the current cinematic system for being ‘clientelare’ (clientelist) and lacking the great producers of the past, suggesting that the industry has lost its identity.

Ward emphasized the importance of theatre, particularly in smaller towns, as the only authentic experience for an actor. He also noted his appreciation for the Basilicata region.

Additionally, Ward is scheduled to participate in the inaugural ‘ÈSPERO – Sunset Experience’ at the Teatro Tempio in Pietravairano. He will perform a monologue dedicated to the history of the theatre and ancient Mediterranean civilizations, an event designed to promote the cultural value of Italy's internal areas.
