Lucania IndieQuest 2026 showcases independent games in Potenza

The Lucania IndieQuest 2026 event is taking place from October 9 to 11 at the Palazzo della Cultura in Potenza, Italy, as part of the ninth edition of Lucania is Comics. Organized by Nerdworks APS, the initiative provides a platform for six independent game development teams to present their work to the public and industry professionals.

Participating titles include ‘Rome Ultraviolence Night’ by The Lost Satellite, ‘Roots In the Sky’ by Madit Entertainment, ‘Chaotic World’ by TecnhnololgicalPixel, ‘Geryphon’ by Pixel Forge, ‘Laylines’ by Omniteca Lab, and ‘Green Invaders’ by Kio Fatto. Visitors can test these games at the EXPShowcase throughout the festival.

A central feature of the event is the PitchArena, scheduled for Saturday, October 10. Each team will have ten minutes to pitch their project, followed by a five-minute Q&A session with a jury. The jury includes industry experts such as Fabio Belsanti of AgeOfGames, Adriano Bizzoco from Digital Lighthouse and IIDEA, and technology journalist Lorenzo Fantoni. Evaluation criteria include originality, development potential, technical and visual aspects, and pitch effectiveness. The winning team will receive a 1,000 euro hardware voucher and online mentorship covering promotion and publisher relations.
