Lucas do Rio Verde awards certificates to 84 vocational trainees

On the evening of 29 May, the municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde handed certificates to 84 students who completed free vocational courses under the Programa Qualifica Lucas. The courses, delivered in partnership with Senai‑MT, covered bakery, industrial electricity, agricultural machinery maintenance and logistics process operation.

Municipal secretaries of Social Assistance, Housing and Economic Development praised the program as a key driver of local professional development. Secretary Danilo Messias said it is the city’s largest skills‑training initiative and a model for other towns. Senai manager Thiago Holz highlighted the partnership’s role in expanding job opportunities and supporting career growth. Graduate Erivaldo de Oliveira, an industrial electrician, noted that the training added valuable knowledge to his existing work.

The ceremony marked the conclusion of this phase of the program, which will continue offering free qualification courses to enhance employment prospects for residents of Lucas do Rio Verde.
