Lucas do Rio Verde expands judo program through Viva Lucas

The Viva Lucas Program has expanded its judo activities in Lucas do Rio Verde, providing new kimonos and shirts to students. This initiative aims to use sports as a tool for social transformation for local children and youth.

Over its two years of operation, the program has seen significant growth, including the professionalization of instructors Silvana Caroline da Silva Prezotto and José Prezotto, and the establishment of a new training space in the Rio Verde neighborhood. This new facility is designed to improve training conditions and increase the capacity for new practitioners. The expansion is supported by public investment and partnerships, notably with Sicredi, which continues to support individual sports modalities in the community.
