Lucas do Rio Verde hosts disability awareness and geek culture weeks
Lucas do Rio Verde is hosting two distinct cultural event series. The Week of Appreciation for Persons with Disabilities, organized by the Municipal Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, will run from September 21 to 25. Established by Municipal Law No. 3.795, the program includes lectures on inclusion, traffic awareness actions to promote respect for accessible parking, and inclusive cinema sessions.
Separately, the association Geek LRV is launching the municipality’s first Geek Week starting September 19. The event features a variety of activities including a rock concert by a youth symphony orchestra, dance performances themed around classic cinema, and a gaming event at the Monteiro Lobato Municipal Library involving board games and card games.
