Lucas do Rio Verde hosts youth cooperative training and prize draw to boost local engagement

On May 27, 82 students from the municipal school network of Lucas do Rio Verde attended the first Technical Training Meeting for School Cooperatives at Unilasalle. Organized by the municipal Education Secretariat in partnership with the Sicredi Ouro Verde cooperative, the event featured workshops on communication, documentation, leadership and financial education. Participants described the experience as “a unique moment” that strengthened teamwork and civic involvement.

Two days later, the Lucas do Rio Verde Chamber of Shopkeepers held the first draw of the “Show de Prêmios 2026” campaign’s “Amor em Dobro” phase. The draw, conducted with digital‑coupon registration, offered prizes such as a Biz motorcycle, appliances and an iPhone 17, and aimed to stimulate purchases in local commerce. The chamber’s president said, “Our goal is to remind people that buying locally and registering their coupons supports the local economy.”
