Lucas do Rio Verde advances infrastructure and health initiatives

Various municipal initiatives are underway across Mato Grosso and São Paulo. In Lucas do Rio Verde, the city has begun asphalt paving in the Colina Verde neighborhood, an investment of approximately R$ 753,940. The project is part of an urban land regularization process and includes infrastructure improvements such as lighting. Additionally, the municipality is implementing Larvicide Dissemination Stations (EDLs) to combat Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, targeting strategic points like scrap yards to prevent dengue, Zika, and Chikungunya. The city also announced a simplified selection process for temporary professional hires, with salaries reaching up to R$ 23,684 for medical roles.

In Sinop, a bidding process has been opened for the renovation of the Valmor Copatti Municipal School, following a fire in May 2025. The estimated investment for the project is R$ 2.3 million.

In Araras, São Paulo, health agents are conducting a cleanup drive in the Parque Dom Pedro neighborhood to eliminate mosquito breeding sites. Meanwhile, a winter running event in Lucas do Rio Verde successfully collected over two tons of pet food for local animal protection organizations.
