Police in Mato Grosso have conducted several operations targeting organized crime and theft. In Lucas do Rio Verde, a 23-year-old suspect was arrested for the kidnapping and execution of Felipe Alvyn Ruzescki de Sá. Investigations revealed the victim was killed by members of the Comando Vermelho faction and his body was burned among tires to hide the crime.

In a separate operation, authorities arrested three men in Rondonópolis for their involvement in a scheme to steal and divert soy and corn shipments in Nova Mutum. The group coordinated logistics by recruiting trucks to steal crops directly from fields for illegal sale. During the arrest, one suspect attempted to destroy evidence by breaking his mobile phone.

Additionally, the police identified the remains of 33-year-old Rafael Ferreira Gonçalves in Nova Nazaré. Investigators stated the victim was subjected to a ‘crime tribunal’ and strangled with a blanket by three men before his body was abandoned in a remote area and subsequently carbonized by a fire.
