Lucas do Rio Verde Opens Registrations for Third Municipal Street Race

The municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde announced that registrations for the third stage of its annual street running circuit will open online at 7 p.m. on Friday, 24 May. The winter race is scheduled for Sunday, 16 August, with a 5‑kilometre course and a 6:30 a.m. start.

Participation is capped at 2,300 athletes. Entrants must donate one kilogram of dog or cat food, which will be collected when they pick up their race kit containing a bib and timing chip. Eligible runners must be at least 14 years old and can register in one of five age categories ranging from 14‑29 up to 60 and over. All finishers will receive a participation medal.
