Lucas do Rio Verde presents logistics hub project in Hong Kong
The municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde presented its strategic logistics hub project to international investors at the Belt and Road Summit 2026 in Hong Kong. Held on September 9 and 10 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event aimed to foster strategic partnerships and connections.
Lucas do Rio Verde was one of only two Brazilian representatives selected for the summit. The presentation focused on an integrated logistics distribution hub, which includes a bypass for the BR 163 highway, new railway connections, and a new airport.
Additionally, the municipality highlighted the LRV Rail Hub Project, a railway initiative designed to attract foreign investment. This hub is intended to centralize railway operations, a dry port, and a processing and export zone.
