Lucas do Rio Verde road closures continue for drainage works

Road closures on Avenida da Produção and Avenida Vitória Régia in Lucas do Rio Verde will remain in effect until Tuesday, October 3. The restrictions are due to drainage system improvements near the Rotatória do Porquinho in the BR-163 region.

The project involves replacing pipes to improve water runoff and address recurring flooding issues during the rainy season. Work includes blocking access to the roundabout on Avenida da Produção and closing one block of Avenida Vitória Régia in both directions.

The infrastructure improvements are being carried out by Pedrisa Pavimentações in partnership with the concessionaire Nova Rota do Oeste and the local government. These works are part of a broader urban crossing improvement plan for BR-163, which includes new access points, lane expansions, and road recovery to prepare for a future bypass scheduled for 2027.
