Lucas do Rio Verde updates Master Plan and expands sanitation survey

Lucas do Rio Verde has taken significant steps toward long-term urban development and infrastructure improvement. Acting Mayor Joci Piccini sanctioned five complementary laws to revise the city’s Master Plan. These updates aim to organize urban growth, manage economic expansion, and prepare for future infrastructure needs, specifically considering the city’s rapid growth and its potential role as a multimodal transport hub involving road bypasses and railway projections.

In a separate infrastructure initiative, a socio-environmental technical survey has launched in nine neighborhoods to support the expansion of the sewage system. Part of the PAC-23 project, this survey aims to identify the socioeconomic profiles of families in areas such as Jardim Cerrado, Parque das Américas, and Vida Nova. The data collected will guide social orientation, public health awareness, and professional training programs for residents benefiting from the new sanitation works.
