Lucas do Rio Verde women's fishing tournament opens registration

Registrations for the 11th Women's Regional Fishing tournament in Lucas do Rio Verde begin on Friday, July 10. The event will take place on August 22 at Lake Ernani José Machado, running from 15:30 to 17:00 with a catch‑and‑release format. Women aged 18 or older may enter, each allowed to be accompanied by up to two identified persons. A total of 150 slots are available at a cost of R$ 60, payable at Pantanal Caça e Pesca, the event sponsor, until July 29 or while supplies last.

Participants receive an official t‑shirt and identification wristband. Prizes include trophies, fishing kits, reels and cash: R$ 500 for first place, R$ 300 for second and R$ 200 for third, with additional awards for lower rankings.
