Lucas Herrington prepares for Socceroos friendlies against Brazil
Australian central defender Lucas Herrington is preparing to face Brazil in two upcoming international friendlies. The 19-year-old has experienced a rapid career ascent over the last nine months, moving from the A-League's Brisbane Roar to the MLS with the Colorado Rapids, and most recently transferring to Hull City in the English Premier League.
Herrington, who was recently awarded the Harry Kewell Medal as Australia's best player under the age of 23, expressed excitement about representing the Socceroos in his home city of Brisbane. The first friendly is scheduled to take place in Townsville, followed by a second match at Brisbane's Lang Park. Herrington noted the importance of adapting to different professional environments throughout his recent journey.
