Lucas Lucco faces R$ 1.4 million lawsuit for breach of contract

Brazilian singer Lucas Lucco and his company, Lucas Lucco Produções LTDA, are facing a lawsuit totaling approximately R$ 1.47 million. The legal action was filed by investor Rafael Machado Simões Pires, who alleges breach of contract and failure to pay royalties.

The dispute stems from a 2022 investment agreement worth R$ 1,547,828, which was intended to fund the promotion of the singer's albums “Rolê Diferenciado” and “777”. The investor claims that while partial payments totaling about R$ 1.1 million were made, the defendants failed to fulfill the remaining repayment schedule and the minimum royalty remuneration stipulated in the contract.

In the filing, the plaintiff is seeking a preliminary injunction for the precautionary seizure of Lucco's assets and financial holdings to prevent the potential concealment of property, including advertising contracts and business shares. The case is currently awaiting a judicial decision.
