Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opens in Los Angeles

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art has officially opened to the public in Los Angeles. The project, initiated in 2018 by filmmaker George Lucas and his wife, Mellody Hobson, faced several delays and was originally intended to open in 2021.

The museum features an 11-hectare campus with a 28,000-square-meter facility spanning five floors. The collection includes approximately 1,300 pieces, ranging from painting, drawing, and sculpture to photography, comic books, costumes, and Lucas’s complete film archives. The total cost of the project is estimated at $1 billion.
