Olympique de Marseille intensifies summer transfer activity

Olympique de Marseille is actively navigating a complex summer transfer window, constrained by the need to sell players to satisfy DNCG financial regulations.

In goal, the club is attempting to hijack a deal between Leeds United and Torino for Brazilian goalkeeper Lucas Perri. Perri, who had reportedly agreed to a loan with an obligation to buy at Torino, is now reconsidering due to Marseille's aggressive interest.

In the midfield, Marseille is targeting Santiago Hezze from Olympiakos, an Argentine player valued at approximately €14 million. The club is also monitoring West Ham's Soungoutou Magassa and has expressed interest in Adem Zorgane from Union Saint-Gilloise, which could cost around €15 million.

Additionally, Marseille is competing with Paris FC for Canadian striker Jonathan David. While Juventus is open to a loan for the player, his high salary remains a significant hurdle for potential suitors in Ligue 1. Internally, the club is also looking to reintegrate Amine Harit into the offensive lineup following his return from a loan in Turkey.
