Brazilian goalkeeper Lucas Perri is expected to arrive in Turin this Thursday to undergo medical examinations and finalize his transfer to Torino. The move, a season-long loan from Leeds United, has been nearing completion since late last month.

The transfer was previously delayed as Leeds United worked to secure a replacement. The English club eventually signed James Trafford from Manchester City for a club-record fee, which allowed the Perri deal to proceed. Additionally, a minor finger injury sustained by Perri had temporarily slowed negotiations.

Perri, 28, reportedly chose Torino over other Italian suitors to advance his career. Upon completion of the formalities, he is expected to be available for Torino’s Serie A debut against Milan.
