Brazilian political candidates launch regional election campaigns

Various political candidates across Brazil have launched their election campaigns with regional mobilizations.

In Goiás, Governor Daniel Vilela began his reelection campaign by traveling through six municipalities in the Entorno do Distrito Federal alongside presidential candidate Ronaldo Caiado. The campaign focused on highlighting state investments in health, security, and education.

In Paraíba, Governor Lucas Ribeiro launched his campaign in Campina Grande, emphasizing infrastructure projects such as the Hospital da Mulher and road expansions. Meanwhile, João Azevêdo reaffirmed his Senate candidacy with support from President Lula, and candidates André Amaral Filho and Pedro Matias also initiated their respective campaigns focusing on entrepreneurship and labor rights.

In Acre, Senator Alan Rick started his campaign for governor by visiting autism support associations and proposing a strategic road connection between Acre and Pucallpa, Peru. In Amazonas, Governor Roberto Cidade participated in a large meeting in Manaus to support Fausto Júnior’s reelection bid for federal deputy.

In Pernambuco, Vini Castello began his campaign for state deputy through direct contact with citizens in local markets and historical sites.
