Lucas Tors stars in debut film ‘DAVI – Até o Limite de um Adolescente’

Actor Lucas Tors makes his cinematic debut as the protagonist in the feature film ‘DAVI – Até o Limite de um Adolescente’. Directed by Rayssa de Castro and produced by Cara Lavada, the drama explores themes of bullying, invisibility, and the pressures faced by contemporary youth.

Tors portrays Davi, a 16-year-old boy dealing with severe bullying at school and a fractured home life marked by his mother's addiction following the death of his younger sister. The role presents a unique technical challenge, as the character does not speak throughout the film, requiring Tors to rely on body language and facial expressions while the story is told through off-screen narration.

The production faced significant hurdles after the team suffered a financial scam involving a production company owner who disappeared with student funds. Director Rayssa de Castro chose to proceed with the project independently. The film is scheduled for release on September 4 across various streaming platforms, including Prime Video, Claro TV, Apple TV, and Box Brazil.
