Turismo Nacional racing delivers dramatic results in Río Cuarto

The ninth round of the Turismo Nacional (TN) championship took place at the Autódromo Ciudad de Río Cuarto, featuring dramatic finishes in both major classes.

In Clase 2, Gastón Iansa secured a triumphant return to the category, winning the race with his Chevrolet Onix. Valentino Quattrocchi finished second, and Juan Ignacio Canela took third. This victory allowed Exequiel Bastidas, who finished fifth, to take the championship lead with 256 points. Meanwhile, Juan Cruz Benvenuti faced mechanical difficulties, including clutch and tire issues, which hindered his performance.

In Clase 3, Julián Santero claimed victory in a dramatic final. Lucas Vicino had led most of the race but suffered an engine failure on the final lap, allowing Santero to overtake him at the last moment. Leonel Pernía completed the podium in third. The race also saw the retirement of championship leader Agustín Canapino due to mechanical problems, significantly impacting the title race. José Manuel Urcera finished fourth, and Bautista Damiani secured seventh place.
