Lucca Comics & Games celebrates 60th anniversary with exhibition and video game

Lucca Comics & Games is celebrating its 60th anniversary with two major commemorative projects. To mark the diamond jubilee, the festival is launching ‘Lucca Legacy, a Comics & Games story – La Mostra’. This interactive exhibition will be hosted in the historic Palazzo Guinigi and is designed to serve as a permanent cultural platform for the next eight years. Organized by Lucca Crea in partnership with POLI. design, the exhibition allows visitors to physically interact with and modify the display, creating a collective history of the event.

Additionally, the festival has released a dedicated mobile video game titled ‘Luke & Clea - A Quest for Legacy’ to celebrate the milestone. Available for free on Google Play and the App Store, the game was developed by a specialized team including game designer Manuel Macchia and sound designer Sergio Algozzino. This digital initiative follows previous anniversary celebrations that included a book for the 40th year and an animated short for the 50th. The upcoming festival is scheduled to take place from October 28 to November 1.
