Lucero discusses past relationships and friendship with Manuel Mijares

Mexican singer and actress Lucero has spoken about her personal relationships, expressing gratitude for the “wonderful men” in her life. During an interview on Univision’s Despierta América, she noted that her past relationships, including her marriage to Manuel Mijares, have been healthy and positive, leaving her with no resentment or history of infidelity.

Regarding her relationship with her ex-husband Mijares, Lucero clarified that while they maintain a close and friendly bond—often sharing family trips, professional projects, and stages—there is no romantic attraction between them. She emphasized that they have transitioned from being spouses to being friends. Additionally, she noted that she maintains boundaries by not socializing with the current partners of her former significant others, citing a desire to respect everyone’s individual lives.

Lucero also touched upon her previous long-term relationship with businessman Michel Kuri, from whom she separated in 2023.
