Luciana Gattass appointed to lead Cáceres Education Secretariat

Mayor Eliene Liberato Dias of Cáceres has appointed Luciana de Souza Gattass Crepaldi to lead the Municipal Education Secretariat (SME). The appointment was formalized via a decree published in the Official Municipal Journal on Monday, August 24.

Crepaldi is a career civil servant with over 30 years of experience in the municipal network. She holds a degree in Letters and a master's degree in Education from the State University of Mato Grosso (Unemat). Her professional history includes roles as a teacher, pedagogical advisor, and head of the Cultural Foundation. She previously served as the head of the Municipal Education Secretariat from 2005 to 2008.

Mayor Dias noted that the leadership change was a natural transition and acknowledged the contributions of the former secretary, Fransérgio Rojas Piovesan, to the municipal education system.
