Luciano Cáceres to perform ‘Paraíso’ in Córdoba

Actor Luciano Cáceres will perform the play ‘Paraíso’, written by Inmaculada Alvear, at the Carlos Giménez Theater in Córdoba as part of the Mercado Girart.

The production follows the story of Juan Valero, a successful businessman who, after receiving a heart transplant, begins to experience the memories of his donor, a Dominican woman. To ensure accuracy regarding the medical aspects of the plot, the production team consulted with the Congress of Cardiology and a civil association of transplant recipients affiliated with Incucai.

Cáceres described the project as an emotional ‘roller coaster’ that explores themes of class, race, and gender. The play, which originally premiered in Madrid in 2023, has been adapted for an Argentine audience by Dany Mañas.
