Luciano Hang donates prosthetic leg to construction worker in Florianópolis

Entrepreneur Luciano Hang surprised Douglas da Costa Ribeiro by personally delivering a new prosthetic leg at a medical clinic in Florianópolis. Ribeiro, a construction worker, lost his left leg in a motorcycle accident at age 16 but continued working as a paver despite his physical limitations.

After videos of Ribeiro working along the SC-108 highway went viral, Hang decided to donate the equipment. A medical team selected a specific model designed to meet the physical demands of construction work. Ribeiro is now beginning a period of adaptation and physical therapy, expressing a desire to walk hand-in-hand with his wife once he recovers.
