Luciano Ligabue draws 54,000 fans to Rome stadium for tour kickoff
On 12 June 2026 Luciano Ligabue opened his "La notte di certe notti" tour at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico, playing to a crowd of about 54,000. The concert marked the start of a nationwide stadium leg celebrating the 30‑year anniversary of the song “Certe notti”. The set included a mix of classic hits and newer tracks, with Ligabue dedicating “Nessuno è di qualcuno” to women and emphasizing anti‑violence themes. His son Lenny performed on drums alongside longtime band members.
Ligabue said the tour will continue to the Allianz Stadium in Torino on 17 June and the San Siro in Milano on 20 June, before moving to indoor venues across Italy in September‑October. He also used the Rome show to comment on global conflicts, stating that music can address wars in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan and other crises, and expressed disagreement with Francesco De Gregori’s view on political statements by artists. He hinted at possible future projects abroad and a potential Sanremo appearance, but no firm plans were confirmed.
